What's better on a Saturday afternoon than Christmas fun with friends, family and neighbors!
A Ruston "Tacky" Christmas parade will be passing through Downtown Ruston on
Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2 p.m.
Parade will begin promptly at 2 p.m. Mr. JN Walpole of Walpole Tire & Service will serve as the grand marshal. Mr. Walpole is the most recent recipient of the Russ Award which is presented based on outstanding contributions to the Ruston-Lincoln business community or overall economic development of the area, in honor of the founder of Ruston, Louisiana, Robert E. Russ.

Entry Type and Fee:
Parade registration fees will increase by $25 after November 16, 2018.
$75 Float Includes vehicles with attached trailer or a display on a trailer attached to the rear of a truck or tractor.
$50 Vehicle Includes any single vehicle other than semi-trucks, motor homes or campers.
Before and after the parade, join us Downtown in Railroad Park to get your fill of chili goodness! Cooks will spend Saturday morning competing in the 2nd Annual Battle for the Paddle Chili Cook-Off. Chili sales and People's Choice voting will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tasting tickets are $1 each and include a token for voting.
