The winter holidays are upon us, and nothing brings the holiday spirit around better than holiday music. Join us to enjoy the best of our favorites as Robin Spielberg plays the tunes we all know and love. Robin Spielberg will be playing at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 6:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public, so feel free to have the whole family join in our community celebration of the season and its finest music. Piano artist Robin Spielberg is an amazing pianist, but she is also a gifted composer, actress, and speaker. She has to her credit numerous performances at major events and on documentaries, including work for the History Channel and PBS. She also spends time speaking about music and wellness, having taken interest in music therapy when her own daughter was born prematurely and stayed in NICU for four months. She has served as a celebrity spokesperson for the American Music Therapy Association and has done a popular TEDx Talk about music and wellness. Her work in this area has been covered in several major publications, including The New York Times, LifeTime Live, and ABC News. She has written her own book about the life of a touring artist, Naked on the Beach: My Adventures in Pianoland, which has received rave reviews from several publications. Her piano playing, recording, and composing covers a broad spectrum and includes original piano solos, American melodies, arrangements of popular American standards, and lullabies. This is a talent you definitely won’t want to miss!
