Consistently ranking as one of the top school districts in the state, learning is a part of life in Lincoln Parish. The students attending Lincoln Parish Schools ranked among the top school districts in the state on composite scores on the American College Test, continuing a tradition of excellence for parish students. This success can be attributed to a low student/teacher ratio (15 to 1) and an educational philosophy that encourages both book and hands-on learning. Computer labs can be found at all schools, and there are honors classes and gifted and talented programs for almost every age level. Age-appropriate extracurricular actives help balance curriculum with social skills learning.
